Thailand joins the atlas with its own tradition of co-produced housing: informal settlement communities that save, design and rebuild their neighbourhoods with public funds. Alongside it come small participatory parks in Bangkok, forests and mangroves managed by villages, and old towns looked after by their residents. Evictions and the gentrification of creative districts are part of the story too.
