Association born in 2009 from residents' forums on the future of Songkhla's old town and registered in 2013. It gathers the area's memory, tracks physical changes, drafted a conservation plan in 2017 and coordinates the municipality, university and businesses; by 2024, 10 of the 26 derelict buildings identified remained. It leads the World Heritage bid. Tensions: an academic study notes a lack of younger participants and of leaders accepted by all, and residents fear rent rises and the exclusion of the Muslim community.
