Village at the foot of Khao Luang mountain that lost around a hundred houses to a flash flood and landslides on 21 November 1988. It rebuilt itself on its mixed fruit orchards under the forest canopy, an ecotourism club run by residents and batik crafts. The temple and villagers keep the damaged hall as a memorial to the victims. In 1998 it received a national tourism award as a community model. Recent sources on how its groups are organised today are missing.
