Chiang Mai Breath Council สภาลมหายใจเชียงใหม่
Chiang Mai · North · Thailand
Civic network set up in 2019 against smoke and fine particle pollution, northern Thailand's biggest public problem every dry season. It runs a community fire management platform with data on the province's 1,171 villages, green city and composting programmes, and pushed the clean air bill through parliament. It argues for moving from emergency response to planned prevention. A rare case of civil society producing data and public policy outside Bangkok.
