Fifth edition, announced for December 2027 to April 2028 in Rayong, titled "Sin-Samudr, Turning Currents", on the relationship between the local and the global. It is directed by Baan Noorg, an artist collective from Ratchaburi that took part in documenta 15. Tension: the Ministry of Culture wants to turn Rayong, an industrial province in the Eastern Economic Corridor, "from an industrial city into an art city", and art may end up polishing the image of industry.
