An eco-guide association, linked to the provincial tourism office, that ran the Katang Trail (through Katang villages in the Dong Phou Vieng protected area) and the trails of Dong Natad forest. A 2024 study calls this community tourism "participatory exclusion": villagers serve visitors while conservation restricts their use of the forest. In Dong Natad, a 2022 study found that only 30% of households had taken part in planning. It is not confirmed to be active: the official portal has not changed since 2020.
