Commons and belongings. f. (reapertura, 2025)

A waterfall about 7 km from Vang Vieng that, according to the Ministry's tourism website, has belonged by tradition to the village of Ban Naduang. Residents opened trails and bridges, look after the pools, run the car park and food stalls and work as guides; in July 2025 it reopened after works with a 20,000 kip entry fee that they collect. It is a village commons in the country's most touristified destination, but it is unclear who paid for the works and how the fee is shared.
