The first Libera Terra cooperative in Campania, created in 2010 on land and a former cheese dairy confiscated from the Casalesi clan in Castel Volturno. It organically farms around eighty hectares spread across five municipalities in the province of Caserta and produces what is known as the mozzarella of legality. It bears the name of the priest Peppe Diana, murdered by the camorra in 1994 for publicly denouncing the collusion between the mafia and local politics.
