Le Serre dei Giardini Margherita

Kilowatt, a social innovation cooperative, transformed the former municipal greenhouses of the Giardini Margherita into a hybrid space for coworking, a community garden (gARTen), children's activities and culture, open since 2014. It combines a café, events and educational projects with a cooperative management sustained by its own economic activity. It is one of the most cited examples of regenerating public vacant spaces in Bologna.
