Le Shadok Le Shadok, fabrique du numérique

A former Seegmuller port warehouse on the presqu'île André Malraux in Strasbourg, transformed in 2015 by the Eurométropole into a digital factory with a fablab, coworking space and digital culture programming. It is an example of a third place driven entirely by a local institution with a mission of popular digital education. The public investment, running to several million euros, raises the question of whether this institutional model genuinely sustains shared governance with the collectives that use it.
