Civic labs and participationCommons and belonging2016

A rural tiers-lieu in the Couserans, in the Ariège Pyrenees, run by a 2016 association in which individual and organisation members vote alike. It brings together a fabrication workshop (3D printing, electronics, laser cutting and engraving), a coworking and training space, and La Confectionnerie, the new wood, metal and design workshop co-funded by European money. It drives the Labdap network, which sets up learning laboratories in building-trade vocational schools. In 2025 it took in the machinery of the closed Lézat-sur-Lèze tiers-lieu to keep it in public use.
