La Cité Fertile

A third place established since 2018 in a former SNCF goods station in Pantin, with a vegetable garden, greenhouse, brewery and coworking space devoted to urban ecological transition. Its occupation is temporary by design: it was due to close in 2022, and successive extensions from Pantin and Est Ensemble have kept it open until building work starts on the future ecodistrict, leaving it in permanent uncertainty about its future.
