BLIIIDA

A former three-hectare bus depot in Metz, handed over to artists in 2013 during a Nuit Blanche and later transformed by the association TCRM Bliiida into a third place for cultural and creative industries. It houses more than eighty resident organisations and several incubation programmes, including one dedicated to cultural projects. It reflects the typical evolution of these friches: from spontaneous artistic occupation to innovation infrastructure with strong institutional backing, with the risk of losing its more informal character.
