Trans Europe Halles, the European network of independent cultural centres mostly born in converted industrial buildings, holds two meetings a year at a member venue: a Conference in spring and a smaller, work-oriented Camp Meeting in autumn. They gather cultural managers, artists, activists and community leaders. They are open to non-members, although programme and pricing are designed for the network. They are the best entry point into Europe's grassroots cultural centre ecosystem.
