This event has already taken place. It is kept to establish the pattern of the series.
Tenth edition, on Saturday 9 November 2024 from 9.30 to 15.30 at the Drenthe provincial house in Assen, under the motto "village strength up close". Residents from across the country spent the day in a creative workshop building the Plakkaat van het Platteland, a manifesto of priorities for the countryside, and heard a keynote by Kees Klomp, known for advocating a more sustainable, people-centred economy, on the role of the local and small-scale in the ecological crisis.
