First world conference of the Democracy R&D network in the Global South: the main gathering in Bogotá and a follow-up meeting in Brasília, co-organised by Instituto de Política Abierta and Delibera Brasil. Mehr Demokratie lists 2 to 5 June 2027 in Bogotá and 8 to 9 June in Brasília; the network has not yet published the dates on its website and venues are to be announced. Moving to Latin America opens the network beyond the Europe and North America axis where almost all its editions took place.
