Annual summer school at Viadrina University in Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice, focused on the Eastern Partnership countries and Central and Eastern Europe. The theme changes each year; in 2026 it treated the city as a common good: solidarity housing, urban care and commons. It combines round tables with ZOiS and three labs that end in an urban intervention. Open up to age 35 and highly selective: about 30 places for nearly 200 applications in 2026. Accommodation is covered and travel grants are offered; the call does not mention a fee. Its organisers say funding is hard to secure.
