Social Street Via Fondazza

In September 2013 journalist Federico Bastiani created a Facebook group so that residents of via Fondazza could get to know one another, at no cost and with no formal structure. The idea became the world's first social street and gave rise to a movement that today counts hundreds of streets following the same model in different countries. Being an informal neighbourhood phenomenon, its continuity depends on voluntary commitment and is difficult to verify as the years pass.
