Regolamento sui beni comuni de Bolonia

Bolonia · Emilia-Romagna · Italy

Participatory urbanismCivic labs and participation2014

In 2014 Bologna approved the first Italian regulation for the shared administration of urban beni comuni, drafted together with Labsus. Since then more than a thousand patti di collaborazione have been signed between residents and the city council to look after streets, squares, gardens and social spaces. In 2023 it was reformed to also include informal collectives and case del quartiere. It is the model that inspired similar regulations in hundreds of Italian municipalities.
