Mare Culturale Urbano

Three cultural promoters won a municipal competition to regenerate an abandoned farmhouse in San Siro, a peripheral district of Milan, and since 2016 have turned it into a cultural centre with a restaurant, a covered square, coworking space and artistic programming that involves the neighbourhood. The model has already been replicated in other peripheral Milanese districts, inspired by European hybrid centres such as Matadero in Madrid.
