Le Regole del Comelico

Comelico Superiore (BL) · Veneto · Italy

Third placeCommons and belongingSiglo XII

The Regole del Comelico are at once a patrimony of woods, meadows and pastures and the community of regolieri who own and manage it collectively and indivisibly, documented since the 12th century. Abolished in the 19th century, they were re-established in 1948 and still administer the territory under their own statutes, the old laudi. They share an institutional family with the neighbouring Regole d'Ampezzo, already included in the atlas, but are a separate entity.
