Kilowatt is the Bologna-based cooperative that in 2014 professionalised the work of the Associazione Kilowatt, winner of calls such as Incredibol and Culturability. It offers consultancy in urban regeneration and social innovation, brand communication and educational projects, and runs Le Serre dei Giardini Margherita, the restored municipal greenhouse that houses it. It is an example of the shift from informal collective to structured social enterprise, typical of Italian civic design over the last decade.
