A cooperative created in late 2009 in Augan, a village of 1,500 people in central Brittany, to sustain local shops in a rural area affected by the disappearance of services. It functions at once as a bar, a shop for local and organic produce, a craft brewery and a meeting room for the village's associations, taking care not to compete with existing small businesses.
