First edition co-hosted with two non-municipal bodies (Humane Urbanism and Türkiye Design Council), with the conference on 7 and 8 April at the InterContinental hotel in Istanbul and field trips on 6 and 9 April. Three strands: disaster-ready cities, people-powered cities and urban branding. Expensive tickets for grassroots groups: 899 euros for the early-bird regular pass, 499 for the reduced pass for municipalities, NGOs and universities, and 160 for students; sales open on 1 December 2026.
