Democratic innovationCivic tech and digital democracyConferenceInternational
Annual forum of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg since 2012. It gathers policymakers, civil society and young people from around the world to debate the state of democracy and to present initiatives selected through an open call in the so-called democracy labs. It offers visibility and funded travel to citizen initiatives, although the format is highly institutional and the agenda is shaped by the Council itself.
