Three-day practical school that a municipality commissions from the company Renovaring: teams of six to ten participants, led by a 'unit master', draw up a business plan for a real vacant property in town and pitch it to the owner on the last day, with follow-up to make it happen. It is Japan's most widespread method of renovation-led urban regeneration and runs several times a year in different cities. Tension: an entrepreneurial, market-driven approach rather than a community one; a participation fee.
