Annual gathering of French local authorities running participatory budgets, organised by the Réseau National des Budgets Participatifs (an association of elected officials, officers and residents, constituted in 2022) with a different host city or department each year (Bordeaux 2023, Nancy 2024, Marseille 2025, Nantes 2026). Two or three days of talks, workshops and practice exchange. It is where the evolution of a device now spread to hundreds of municipalities gets discussed, with the familiar tension between real participation and the management of minor projects.
