The main French gathering of citizen participation professionals, organised since 2017 by the think tank Décider ensemble in a different city each year (Grenoble 2019, Strasbourg 2025, Dijon 2026). It brings together participation officers, elected officials, consultancies, researchers and associations over three in-person days and two online, with workshops, urban walks and talks. It started as 'rencontres nationales' and is now branded European, although the audience remains mostly French. It is fee-based with a strong consultancy presence, worth keeping in mind.
