Itinerant festival of the Placemaking Europe network, bringing together several hundred practitioners, academics, city officials and community leaders each year around collaborative public space design, using the host city as a living lab. It is the main meeting point for placemaking in Europe, with two tensions: practitioner tickets above 280 euros, which leave small collectives out, and a 95,000 euro curation fee that the host city must provide or help raise, which tilts hosting towards councils with budget.
