Annual convention of Locality, the English network of neighbourhood community organisations (community anchors), many of them with their own buildings, services and spaces. Two days in a travelling venue (Liverpool in 2025, Leicester in 2026), with plenaries, workshops, visits to local projects and the Locality Awards, aimed at those working on community ownership and bottom-up regeneration. Its tension is the price: between about 360 and 615 pounds plus VAT depending on membership, with only ten bursaries for organisations that cannot afford it.
