Annual meeting of LEADER Local Action Groups from across Europe, started in Austria in 2010. Each year a different territory hosts it and shows its projects on study tours, between transnational cooperation workshops, games and evenings among delegations. It gathers some 300 to 350 people and is the practical meeting point for community-led local development in rural areas. Tension: it is attended mostly by LAG staff and boards, funded by EU money, rather than by residents or grassroots rural groups.
