Democratic innovationUrban commons and municipalismSummitInternational
Summits of the global municipalist movement driven by Barcelona en Comú from 2017, with regional editions in Warsaw, New York, Brussels, Valparaíso, Naples, Belgrade and Rosario (2022), later taken up by local groups, as in Sheffield in November 2024. They gather citizen platforms, progressive local governments and social movements around radical democracy, the commons and care. There is no central convener or calendar: the official website has not been updated since 2022 and no summit after Sheffield is known.
