Annual conference of the Eurocities network, which groups Europe's large cities. It gathers mayors, city teams, EU institutions and academia in a member city, with thematic sessions and a mayors' summit. The 2026 edition in Utrecht marked the network's 40th anniversary with democracy and climate action as its axes. It is a space of local governments, not of collectives: relevant to follow how cities frame participation and the defence of local democracy, and to find municipal counterparts.
