Norway's political week, held every August since 2012 in Arendal. It is owned by the municipality, which runs it with its own team and funds it with business and public support, while parties, NGOs, universities and companies programme the events. Five days of debates, stands and open events in the town centre, with a youth strand (Arendalsuka Ung). The largest political gathering in Norway, following the Almedalen model, with the same tension between public square and trade fair of interests.
